Dödsrit + Lamp of Murmuur

On May 16, two of the contemporary black metal scene’s most uncompromising forces will meet when Dödsrit and Lamp of Murmuur perform a co-headlining show at Kollektivet Livet.

Dödsrit has its roots in the forests of Borlänge and the raw urban landscape of Amsterdam. The project began in 2017 as a solo endeavor, but quickly evolved into a full band following the early full-length albums Dödsrit and Spirit Crusher.

With their latest record, Nocturnal Will, Dödsrit has refined its sound into something deeply emotional and merciless — a style where black metal collides with the momentum of post-punk, the desperation of crust, and melodies that move between sorrow, fury, and triumph.

Live, Dödsrit is both physical and immersive, with songs that unfold in long, pulsating movements rather than short bursts.
