Kojey Radical

Kojey Radical (Kwadwo Adu Genfi Amponsah) is an East London-born artist whose work seamlessly blends rap, funk, spoken word, poetry, fashion, art, and film. Renowned for his vivid storytelling and emotionally honest lyricism, he has built a reputation as one of the UK’s most innovative and genre-defying creative voices. His work explores themes of identity, family, heritage, masculinity, and personal growth, drawing deeply from his Ghanaian roots and lived experiences.Following a series of critically acclaimed EPs and collaborations, Kojey released his debut album, ''Reason To Smile,' in 2022. The album received widespread praise for its warmth, introspection, and ambition, earning a shortlist nomination for the Mercury Prize.
