Bokoesam

Since the release of his debut EP ‘Nog Nooit Meegemaakt’ (2014), Bokoesam has become a fixture on the Dutch hip-hop scene. Classics such as ‘No Go Zone’, ‘50 Cent’, ‘Mijn Schuld’, ‘Net Iets Meer’ and ‘Go Go Club’ have stood the test of time and are still frequently played in clubs and at festivals. As part of the groundbreaking collective New Wave, he won, amongst other accolades, the Popprijs and two Edison Awards, and in 2026 he was back in the spotlight for five sold-out reunion shows at the Ziggo Dome.In recent years, Bokoesam has showcased different sides of himself. Following the festive energy of the EP ‘Party Sam’ (2023) came the album ‘Nachtvlinder’ (2024), which was certified gold and laid the foundations for his Dutch-spoken dancehall style, as heard on ‘Go Go Club Vol. 1’ and ‘Doe Het Nou Gewoon’. He rounded off 2024 with ‘Nachtvlinder 2’; a personal album on which he candidly shares what the past few years have been like for him.Bokoesam has also reinvented himself on stage. Since 2022, he has been performing with a regular live band, taking his dancehall, hip-hop and Afro influences to the next level. This autumn, he returns to Paradiso with a revamped live show in which his musical journey comes together in its entirety. Expect timeless favourites and new material that have made Bokoesam one of the Netherlands’ most beloved live acts for years.
